CICLAVIA – CULVER CITY MEETS VENICE
Okay, summer is almost over and you don’t have anything to show for it except for a farmer John tan from weeding your dry lawn all summer. Well, this is a perfect excuse to even out your tan and show off those bicycling legs of yours at this first CicLAvia joining two remarkable cities, Venice and Culver Cities. Each has its own personality, with some saying these two cities are polar opposites! See for yourself all the City has to offer along one of the most traveled streets during the day,Venice and Washington Boulevard. Those brave souls who travel the streets know this section is super busy, so I know you’ll appreciate the freedom enjoyed for the few hours us riders will own the Boulevard. I’m not sure what you’re hankering for down this 6 mile stretch, but I have a feeling tacos are in my future…

RESTAURANT.COM GIFT CERTIFICATES
Every few days this unique site does an amazing sale. Here’s how their site benefits over 5 million customers: find the restaurant you want to eat at and gift certificates of multiple denominations. Normally a $25 gift certificate that requires a minimum $35 purchase (+ 18% gratuity on the total bill) for 2 people sells for $10. Well, if they’re having an 80% off sale that voucher comes out to only $2! Spend $2 and get $25 off of your $35 check. This is totally legitimate and restaurants are usually quite appreciative for the new business.
