Check out a great FREE cultural event happening in the LA area this weekend. It’s the 9th annual Inglewood Open Studios featuring over 40 artists all over Inglewood. Visitors can explore the studios and works of many emerging and established artists that are a part of the quickly growing Inglewood creative scene. Works will include abstract paintings, realism, illustration, sculpture, and even a mini-museum dedicated to one of Inglewood’s most well-known large-scale installation artists, Dustin Shuler.
Highlights include the cavernous warehouse-turned-Beacon Arts Building (808 N. La Brea, Inglewood) and the sprawling 1019 West studios (housed in a former VW dealership!), located right across from the iconic Randy’s Donuts. It’s sure to be a great event and the city is doing a lot to promote it on their end as well. Free parking (and booze!) at numerous locations.
